1: What's changed about your fandom life in the last 365 days?

Well I'm becoming more active again, since I restarted Capes & Crusaders and started going on dreamwidth again more consistently. I also started moving/importing a lot of my communities I maintain at LJ here as well. Hopefully I'll finish transferring all of them.

I actually wrote some fics/drabbles! 

2: You've got your OTP, you have to throw a third into the mix (from the same fandom), creating an OT3. Who is the OTP, and in your opinion, why would they make a perfect third for them? Bonus question: What about adding a third to your OTP from a different fandom? Who and why?

Ok as established by a previous post I have a lot of OTPs (and tons of ships I ship), but I also established that Scott/Rogue of X-Men would probably be one I will always love... so in that case, if I throw in a third character from the same fandom, I'd probably add Lorna Dane/Polaris. And why would they make a perfect third for them? I've been curious/liked the idea about a Scott/Lorna romance since seeing it in the Ultimate X-Men series. I think Scott and Lorna share a lot of similarities. I also think Lorna/Rogue would work as well and not just since her powers are similar with her {sometimes? I can't keep up, in my eyes he is her} father Magneto, she could potentially do what her dad did in AOA and other universes and be able to touch Rogue without gloves/getting absorbed. All three have complicated lives, mostly past family stuff or 'cause of whatever is happening with the X-Men but I think they could work as a good team. Plus I love her and want all of them happy.

From a different fandom? Not sure, I haven't really thought on it... it's the same universe technically but maybe Peter Parker? Just 'cause why not? He might be able to bring some levity to them, depending on the universe. I could also see Sara Lance from the Arrowverse, but I basically love her with everyone, same with Darcy Lewis of the MCU, lol.

3: What's a favorite, or at least memorable fandom meeting/interaction that you've had?

If the question means more meeting someone from an actual fandom, I guess I've met James Marsters, Tom Welling, Michael Rosenbaum, Stephen Amell, Danielle Panabaker, Emily Brett Rickards, Billie Piper, Peter Facinelli, Sebastian Stan, Chris Evans (sorta? it was a group photo so I didn't actually get to greet him but since that's probably the closest I'm gonna get, meh I'm counting it), Summer Glau, David Giuntoli, Kate Mulgrew, Tara Strong, Rider Strong, and Will Friedle at various point over the last decade of going to various Philly comic cons.

I also got to meet Richelle Mead (of Vampire Academy/Georgina Kincaid series) in a book signing back in high school.

4: What are the origins of your penname/username?

My original username is Harpie/Harpiebird (mostly at FFN and at various sites), after the mythological Greek creature Harpy AND it most definitely came from my favorite Yu-Gi-Oh! card, the Harpie Lady. I'm not quite sure why once I joined LJ I started using flareonfury (maybe harpie/harpiebird was being used?)... but it has two meanings - FLARE on FURY and FLAREON fury after the Pokémon Flareon. 

Once I started joining online TCGs, I used LadyWolf, mostly after Doctor Who's Bad Wolf (why many of my membercards featured her, lol).

5: Compare and/or contrast your very first fandom obsession and your very latest fandom obsession.

First fandom was either Lizzie McGuire or Hey Arnold! and the latest obsession? At the very second - Wednesday (Netflix) since I just watched the Season 2 Part 1, but it's usually goes back and forth between whatever I just watched/absolutely love, so a lot of MCU or X-Men or Harry Potter... Basically whatever I'm in the mood for.

I guess most of my latest fandom obsessions are more adult, but tend to be bigger fandoms (and smaller? if that makes sense). 

6: What's a fandom that you wish had a bigger following?

Heck, any of the smaller fandoms I'm a part of. But I think maybe some of the newer fandoms: SkyMed, Sense8 and Half Bad: the Bastard Son & Devil Himself.

7: What's the longest time you've been in a fandom. Not necessarily your oldest fandom, but a fandom that you started and still continue to read/write/create content for in some way.

I guess X-Men/Marvel.

8: Crack!fic - We all know it. What's your opinion of it, and if you want, show us an example.

It's fine I guess, I'm more into what people call crack pairings than necessarily crack!fic.

9: Drop the cast of a fandom you follow into a reality tv show - who/what/why? If you need a list of reality TV show examples, click here.

The X-Men into Love Island I guess. I don't actually watch reality TV shows, but they would probably make a good show. I'd basically probably focus on Scott Summers or the Summers family in general... or maybe Mystique.

10: Drop your OTP or small ensemble from the fandom they're in into another fandom - how do they do?

Cyclops & Rogue? Probably well in whatever fandom they would be thrown in. I feel like they'd follow the beats until they got out.

11: What would make you leave a fandom, or prevent you from getting into it in the first place?

Leave? Probably technically nothing? Or I guess lack of new content? I basically bounce back and forth between various fandoms from any of my various favorite films/comics/shows/books. It's just whatever is stuck in my brain at the moment.

12: Who is someone that you share the most fandoms with?

13: Squicks - What are some things that squick you in fandom - not necessarily "icky", though it can be. From anything involving blood, to bad grammar.

Bad spelling/grammer. No paragraph breaks.

14: What fandom broke your heart?

It's not necessarily the fandom, but more the fandom creators - JKR and Joss Whedon - and fandom actress - Allison Mack. I still love the fandoms, obviously because they mean a lot to me. Hopefully I don't have to actually explain exactly they broke my heart.

15: What fandom pairing took you over like Venom took over Eddie?

Probably whatever pairing from whatever fandom I'm currently obsessed with. So at this moment Wednesday/Tyler (Netflix's Wednesday) and Bucky/Mel (Thunderbolts*/MCU).

16: Do you have a fandom that you follow - either regularly or casually - with little to no knowledge of canon?

No? I guess maybe Pokémon, since I haven't actually watched/played anything with them for awhile. So I don't know the newer generations of Pokémon. No wait, maybe some DC Comics stuff, they keep rebooting, so I never know what I know anymore. Marvel, there are parts I don't know much about.

17: Do you prefer art, fic, or vids? Why? Bonus: If someone was to give you a fandom gift, what format would it be?

I prefer fics definitely, but I also enjoy art and vids. Probably more art than vids. I guess 'cause they tend to have the most presence in fandoms. Vids, I feel like are much rarer, or at least I assume so, I haven't been looking lately.

If anyone wants to give me a fandom gift? WHATEVER FORMAT THEY WANT. I would be too grateful to care!

18: Recall a time when two of your fandoms collided, at least in some way. For example, a song that you fell in love with from one fandom showed up in a second fandom.

IDK, in official crossovers I guess? Or unofficial crossovers?

19: What is something that you associate with a character in fandom, but aren't sure if it's canon or fandom?

Hahaha, well, so many things because we like to hoard a lot of minor details that suddenly become central to the characters/pairings/fandoms.

20: A random character shows up at your doorstep at dinnertime saying a friend sent them. Why did your friend send that person, how does it go, and what do you talk about?
