bestie if you do, thread with caution. Sadly, the series attracted an insane amount of people and among those are some with hmm questionable views on things like fanfiction or shipping that make a lot of spaces feel very unwelcoming.

HOWEVER! do not let this be a deterrent, this is just a warning that this fandom is A LOT bigger than it seems and just like any big fandom, drama lurks in unexpected corners.

The series is super good btw (specially the first season) and the visuals are stunning. Also really well rounded characters of all genders and races and status. It's a gem, really.

Well that sucks to know, but thank you for preparing me! I usually try to ignore all the drama if I can help it. I usually just stick to whoever I ship and read those fics/look for artwork (and back in the day fanvids). Although I'm trying to avoid tumblr right now so that might help with less drama.
