Speculations around which actress will don the skin tight leather suit as Catwoman in “Batman 3″ keep on growing. E! Online’s columnist Ted Casablanca recently threw out Rachel Weisz’s name among those considered for the female villain part, writing, “Warners sources are leaking to us that Rachel Weisz is being considered for the Catwoman role, too fab.”
The gossip blogger then continued, explaining, “But Warners officially isn’t saying bubkes. But other insiders working on the next installment, to follow up where The Dark Knight left off, say it’s all so a go.” In addition, he mentioned that at the moment the casting of Catwoman is leaning more toward the “The Constant Gardener” actress, instead of Angelina Jolie.
Previously, it has been reported that Jolie has been making inquiries for the villainous role as reported by New York Daily News back in July. About a month following the breaking out of that rumor, another speculation came out on the feline fatale part. This time, it was said that singer/actress Cher has been considered to take on Catwoman by “The Dark Knight” director Christopher Nolan.
Not that I'm a huge fan of the new Batman movie series, but OMG I would TOTALLY love to see Rachel as Catwoman... I know she would make a wonderful Catwoman... much better then Jolie would (who I'm pretty much sick of, thank you very much). I hope she accepts/gets the part!!!
* Incase anyone who DOESN'T know, totally bitchin' means awesome & its a reference to a scene in the movie.Just One of the Guys - A hilarious movie all around, from Terry's attempt at being a boy to her brother's hornyness. I kept having to pause the film to finish laughing only to start laughing again within seconds. I recommend it if you need a laugh and love 80s movies. Rick (played by Clayton Rohner) was very hot & I would have fallen in love with him AS a geek, lol. Joyce Hyser (Terry) did a great job pretending to be a guy. Billy Jayne (Buddy) was totally bitchin'*! ;D
Say Anything - It's a pretty good movie. I didn't realize it had Lili Taylor in it! I like her, and it was cool to see her younger. It was SO sweet to see John Cusack with the little kid (his sister's boy in the movie). I especially loved those scenes. Anyway I loved Cusack in the film, he did a good job. And while I liked the ending scene (it was funny - I won't spoil it for those who haven't seen it), I thought it should have had MORE to it... I don't know, I guess I was just expecting more. Oh Well.
I’m at my aunt’s. So far its been pretty nice and quiet. I don’t have someone screaming at me, and since my grandmother is at MY house, her room here is like an apartment for me ’cause it has its own bathroom, living/bedroom with a TV. So yeah, I’ve been enjoying the joys of having Cable TV again. God how I miss cable.. We went swimming today, I love swimming, I just wish I was good at it, lol.
My cousin just made us watch Hot Fuzz, which ended up being really hilarous. I’m so glad I watched it. It is SO freaking FUNNY. You must see it if you haven’t already! BY THE POWER OF GRAYSKULL!!!!!! hahaha…
And I saw last night the movie The Perfect Child [?] on Lifetime. It was pretty good, it kind of kept me guessing WHO the murderer is.
On Sunday I stumbled upon the show/movie Fallen [?] on ABC Family. It is really good, and Paul Wesley is extremely hot, lmao.
I’ve so far written 2 small drabbles, one is a Smallville/A Walk to Remember crossover and the other is a Niki/Peter (Heroes)… hopefully tomorrow I’ll be able to type it up and post it on LJ. I also have an idea for a League of Extraordinary Gentlemen/Smallville crossover - I like the idea of Chloe and Tom.
I’ve seen lots of movies lately, both new and old.
Labyrinth (1986) [?] - Ok so the acting & most of the effects were bad and at first watching it I thought the people who made it was on crack, but I don’t know now - I kind of like it for its sucky-ness. LMAO.
Teen Witch (1989) [?] - I love this movie (I’ve seen it before) and it was fun watching this movie again. God how I love the 80s (I know how rare people say that, but what can I tell ya? I’m weird like that)…. I love the Louise & Brad relationship, and I’m SO thankful they ended up together in the end. Sadly no fanfiction, at least on FFN. But you know my muse wants me to make one so I think I will! ^__^
Cutting Class (1989) [?] - It has to be one the ACTURAL worse 80s movie I’ve ever seen in my life. It was Brad Pitts first major film, and god it sucked. I didn’t like his character even though he turned out to be the good guy aka not the killer. However I still kind of like it… lmao. I would have loved to see Paula & Brian be together if he hadn’t been the killer… So that sucked lmao.
Swan Princess (1994) [?] - Laugh at me all ya want, but I’ve never seen this film but its pretty good. Entertaining at least. Although I have to say it was REALLY cheesy for Derek to immediately fall in love with Odette when they were older and beautiful, EVEN though she hasn’t been an ugly girl since she was very small and in pigtails… thats the one thing I hated. Plus Derek’s hair so looked horrible, lmao. But it was still good movie and I liked it. The animation rocked.
Thumbelina (1994) [?] - Once again, don’t laugh at me for watching this! LOL. It was kind of good, and the animation was good. The animals CLOTHING however and all the mustaches on them are beyound horrible. But it was still pretty good movie. Cornelious was very well drawn (actually one of the better animated princes I believe - he was cute for animated people). But I have to say Thumbelina’s character kinda sucked. She was such a… stupid girl, I guess. I don’t know how I want to describe it. I don’t mean she was stupid stupid, she was just… I don’t know. x.x
Blind Dating (2006) [?] - I love this movie! Haha it was really good, and entertaining. Hilarous in some parts. God Chris Pine is SO HOT! Hahaha… and Jane Seymour was very funny in this film! And the guy that plays Mohinder Suresh in Heroes is in this film.
1408 (2007) [?] - The movie was alright, John Crusack was good - god I love him! LOL. You know it reminded me of an 80s movie, just with better special affects.
No Reservations (2007) [?] - Pretty good, I enjoyed it. Catherine Zeta-Jones did an excellent job playing a dedicated chief. And Aaron Eckhart’s character was really wonderful in the film. I loved their chemistry. And the young Abigail Breslin did a wonderful job as Zeta-Jones’s young neice who lost her mom.
The Last Legion (2007) [?] - I liked it a lot, although I don’t really like the idea of Colin Firth as an ancient warrior… lol. Firth is better in romanic-comedies, definitly. But he was still really good in the movie. Thomas Sangster was great, lol, I loved how this story is connected to the King Arthur legends. They did a pretty good job in the movie, although some of the fights were pretty bad, lol.
I Could Never Be Your Woman (2007) [?] - This was a very good movie! Loved it. Paul Rudd is so HOT, lmao. Seriously though, he was like the PERFECT guy… at least his character was. Exactly what I want, LOL.
OMG I love THIS fan trailer. It has Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, Flash… sadly no Green Arrow & Supergirl. Anyway it has Batman Begins Batman, Superman Returns Superman. Wonder Woman is Linda Carter (the one who played her in the TV series), Flash is Ryan Reynolds (*dies* :D), GL = Jim Caviezel (?).
This is a pretty good one too - HERE. But why isn’t CHLOE starring?!? Lmao. It actually kind of gives me ideas for some fanfics (yay!).
THIS one is cool, all about Green Arrow? Awesome! And then it has Black Canary, Huntress, and Oracle?! Even more awesome! Scenes are from Smallville and Birds of Prey.
Thats it for now, I’m gonna search for more later! ^^
ETA: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2scfKfrz0hA - Call me retarded or whatever, but I would TOTALLY see this movie! LMAO. It was hilarous! Man now I wish I saw Smallville episode to episode!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Da33XXUFAYE - CHLOE/CLARK scenes! Yay! This was SOOOOOOOO funny! I thought. I would see this one too if it was real.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vdxn0OCo7Cg - Smallville/X-Files crossover movie… it looks really good (CHLARK!!!!!). Even though I never really watched X-Files (I probably saw a few eps though, I don’t remember), I would def. see this film if it was real.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CWNIDAC1R_s - Chlark-ness! *sniffs* I want them together so much! Why can’t they be together?!?! Grrrr.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_0tmVtpwMu8 - this one is pretty cool, part of the Justice League II: Dark Rising TV Spots. Chloe as Oracle/Watchtower is the best idea the writers of Smallville thought of since they created her characters, lmao!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y6_M-LoiKKI - Justice League III: Armageddon… looks really good. Man, they better ACTUALLY create a JL live-action film…
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H61djF0t60Q - More Chlark-ness! Yay! Loved it.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQ6bMOZpWwU - Now this is a Marvel related fan trailer and its about Avengers! Its kinda good. Except its about Wolverine, Spider-Man, Beast, and Hulk as the Avengers. I just hope when they actually DO a live-action film for the Avengers it’ll have at least Scarlet Witch in it! I want to see her in a movie for love of god!!!!
Saturday I watched Sabrina the Teenage Witch Season 1! Yay! I love that show… corny puns and all. When I have more time… and not so tired I’m going to write more about what I thought of the season. But for now… SABRINA AND HARVEY RULES!!!!!! They are my one true pairing out of ANYTHING. Seriously. Just rewatching that season totally reminded me it. Hopefully I’ll be able to suck my muse into writing some good fanfiction of the two together. Oh yeah, and Mr. Pool is my FAVORITE teacher ever! LOL. God, he was hilarous. And Salem’s cry! Awe… I love that cat.
Season 2 DVD Set is coming out July 21st, 2007…. THANK GOD! I want it SO badly… damn it. I hope I can get it. *crosses fingers* I just have to be really good to my mom and watch my brother even more.
The Messengers - I thought it was good dispite it was SO not scary. (However I do think it might be scary for someone who was younger then 10 - anyone above that age probably that it sucked and was stupid b/c it wasn’t scary) I jumped at one part even though I KNEW it was coming (the crow in the basement). But I loved it. Seriously and I fell for several pairings in that show (HEY you shouldn’t be surprised to read that). Sadly, I can’t find any fanfiction… actually I haven’t checked quite yet, but I bet there is none. x.x
Norbit - HILAROUS! It kinda gets less funny when you watch it a lot, but its still a really good movie. It was hilarous and kind of hard to believe that Eddie Murphy played three characters including Norbit and Norbit’s wife even in the same scenes. In a few of them they were like right next to each other and I was like… damn how the hell do they do that?! You know? I know its computer special effects, but it was really well done. I didn’t even know he was the Chinese guy until my mom told me, lmao.
Last week of school… doesn’t really feel like it though. Feels like I still have months to go. I still have finals for Spanish, History, and Geometry. I don’t get one in Art, and I pasted the 95 grade in English and Chemistry so I don’t have to take those finals. Yay! Although I’d rather do the Chemistry one instead of the Geometry one. I’m gonna fail that test!!
Happy 1st of April/April Fools Day. Sadly I don’t have anything to fool you with. Sorry.
Well, I made these really cool blends tonight that I really like, check out HERE. I’m currently using the wallpaper, BTW. ^^
And I’m sick… again. Blah. I hate being sick.
I’ve seen several good movies lately.
Music and Lyrics - LOVE IT!!!! I so love Hugh Grant. His voice is AWESOME, I love the songs Hugh Grant sung, espically Pop! Goes my Heart and A Way Back into Love. Anyway, I really loved the movie and the soundtrack! (I got my sister to buy it off itunes for me! YAY!) Drew was also really good, I really loved her in this movie.
Jerry Maguire - You may laugh, but I’ve never saw this movie before today. It’s a good movie, I loved it. Plus it has A LOT of actors I know and love. Tom Cruise isn’t bad in this film, but I still don’t like him.
300 - Pretty good. I liked it. It really interested me because of them being ancient Greek people (Spartans). And it was so cool to see an example of what Spartans went through - I already knew what they did though, you know, thanks to my World History I teacher -man I miss that class - but it was kind of nice visual.
It was about damn time, too. LOL. Paradox is now going to be using Wordpress as well, and moved to a different URL (still at muse-insanity.org but at a different location). So far it looks good, if I do say so myself. Just the layout is messed up, but people will just have to get used to it until I figure out how to fix it. I’ve been working to get it fixed since yesterday and got NOTHING. Logan also doesn’t know why its messed up either. *sigh* Stupid layout. But I love it anyway.
Anyway you’ll recieve the new URL for it once I’m finished uploading all my fanfics to it.
Today I had no school because juniors were taking the PSSA testings. I won’t have school tomorrow either. Yay!
Last friday, my friends Kerri & Mary came over my house after school and slept over. We basically laughed, watched movies, played the Sims, and played playstation 1 video games. OMG I love the game Spyro! I WANT IT!!!! I always wanted it, but I sooo want it more now that I actually PLAYED the games.
I also actually watched the WHOLE movie, The Breakfast Club. It was good - I loved Allison! My favorite pairing is of course Allison & Andy.
Tonight I saw Stranger then Fiction. It was actually not as funny as I hoped it would be but then most movies aren’t. But it was good - I liked it.
Anyway, today me, my dad, and my brother went to a playground not too far from my house. I never knew it was there though. There was like NO one there, so that was both creepy and nice. There was one dad & son that came a little after we did. It was funny because the boy was (a lot) younger then my brother and he was trying to follow my brother around the whole time - well most of the time. It was cute. My brother had a ball running around and sliding down the sliding board.
I had a lot of fun too. Its so weird but I really love swinging. Its like your flying and I love the wind in my hair and the feel like I’m flying. LOL. I was swinging a very long time which caused my hands to really hurt because of the chains that I was holding on.
From what I can see they have these listed:
And from the last picture they seem to know about Franklin Richards - even though I doubt he’s born to Reed & Sue yet. I know about Cerebro (duh!), Muir Island, & Omega Red but what the heck is Project Wideawake?
10 more minutes till NEW YEAR!!!! Awesome^^ I can’t believe its almost 2007. Time goes by so fast anymore.
Haha! I finally SAW it!
Superman Returns was pretty good. I really liked it. And how come I heard nothing of Jason being Clark/Superman’s son? Like seriously… you would think that would be something someone would talk about. Apparently not. But then I didn’t really read any reviews or spoilers so that’s probably why. Anyway, I think they ended it where they could have more sequels… think they will? Wait… yeah probably. I don’t I need anyone to answer that question, LOL. Personally I wish they would do a live-action Superman & Supergirl movie. Or maybe a live-action Justice League movie? Who wouldn’t want to have one? I wouldn’t mind either.
The Class - LOVED it! I could barely stop laughing. Its sooo funny. And did you SEE the Ethan/Kat scene at the end!!! *fangirl squeal* Heh^^ And this is the first time the characters meet again since Ethan’s party, very cool.
Heroes - I thought it was pretty good. It’s weird that Peter is really connected with his brother… you know? And is just me or do they hug a lot? The only thing I don’t get about Sylar is how does he insert the powers in his brain? I feel really bad for Hiro, I would have liked Charlie to stay alive and live happily with Hiro.
And this sucks: I’m like stuck for what to write for my Claire/Sam (Supernatural/Heroes Crossover) fanfic. I’m also writing a Audrey/Matt & Claire/Peter Christmas fanfic that’s doing pretty well (3 pages written already! ^^). I’m ALSO trying to write a Kat/Ethan fanfic as well, but all I got so far is a summary of what I want to happen. Besides all that I’m trying to finish my Kim/Batman fanfic, Goblin Queen X-Men Evo styled fanfic, my Buffy/Danny Phantom fanfic, Rumors Coming True Chapter 2, etc.
My muse is driving me insane anymore…
I was at Shoprite with my great-aunt (Aunt Jay) and my mom (& my brother of course) and guess what I saw? X-MEN THE LAST STAND! Yup! And I was like, “PLEASE?!?!” to my mom. Luckily she gave in and let me buy it. YAY! I finally have it. I just need the 2nd movie to have all the X-Men movies. I rewatched it, plus watched all the deleted scenes. Nothing much in the deleted scenes - other then Rogue keeping her powers - I like that. And the extra stuff is like nothing… which SUCKS. They could at least have Stan Lee (or someone else) explain the real Phoenix story or something in an interview. Maybe they do.. I don’t know, I didn’t see it. That would have been a good extra for a Comic Book Movie.
Also I have NO clue why I haven’t thought of this. Who thinks they should do a movie about Rogue? Like I mean the one where she keeps Carol Danvers/Ms. Marvel’s powers? Wouldn’t that be AWESOME? That would be one of the things I would want to see on the big screen. The other things being are Emma Frost, Polaris, Madelyne Pryor, Magma, Magik I, CYCLOPS ALIVE!, Mystique, etc.
Also after watching X3, my dad put on the first Riddick (Pitch Black) movie? I only saw the first half of it ’cause I didn’t want to miss The Class or Heroes. It was really good. Tomorrow I’m going to finish watching it and then move on to watch the other movies - my dad got the whole series. I REALLY love the whole Riddick/Fry relationship! Please tell me they get to kiss! I would be happy if they do! So yeah, I’m going to be busy tomorrow.
The Class - Other then being funny ’cause of Nicole & Duncan and Kyle & the other blond chick (I currently forgot her name, but I don’t feel like looking it up), it was a pretty average episode. Not too much Ethan/Kat so I was disappointed - come ON! I am in love with that ship! LOL.
Heroes - AWESOME!!!!! Claire & Peter MEET! *squeals* I love that ship, lol. It was really good, but like HELLO! PETER BETTER NOT BE ARRESTED! He fuckin’ saved Claire’s life, just like she saved his! Grrr. I want to know whats after this. Sure I would like to know how they come to have their powers, but I would REALLY like to know what happens AFTER this episode. I love Zach. He’s just awesome. I wish I had a friend that awesome. LOL.
Wednesday is a half-day but then there’s this student/teacher football game, and since they want more people to go, they got the clubs to be doing stuff. Maybe since I’m sick, I’ll be able to get out of it. But I might stay for it. Just to support my club (Lit. Mag.). It’ll probably be only an hour. So I’ll probably be getting out around 1-ish. HOPEFULLY. I really don’t want to be there any longer then that.
Lucky Seven - I loved it… it was really good. Kinda reminded me of the whole Luke/Lorelai thing from Gilmore Girls about the Amy/Peter relationship (you know how Lorelai’s first attraction to Luke was at his sister’s wedding, while Amy’s first attraction to Peter was at his friends’ wedding? And how Peter works at a store that Amy goes to everyday and Luke works at his that Lorelai goes to everyday?) - except Amy’s and Peter’s relationship went WAY better. My mom bought it, so I can watch it anytime. I love Kimberly Williams! She’s awesome!I also watched the first 4 episodes of Dead Like Me Season 2 (I had thought I got Season 1, but apparently I didn’t). The show is awesome! I definitely want to buy it the two seasons. I love the characters George and Mason! And I of course support George/Manson all the way!
Ice Princess - Pretty good… I liked it. I *loved* the whole soundtrack!
Take the Lead - While I didn’t like ALL (pretty much all) of the rap songs they had - the movie was AWESOME! I *loved* it! The couples in the movie was SO obvious though - which I kind of hated.
Aquamarine - Really good, I loved watching it, lol. Jojo is a pretty good actress, and so is Emma Roberts. I love mermaid movies!!!
